Life and Creative Work" (Nina Ivanovna Granovskaya, a research worker of the museum, the author of the exposition, was conferred the title "The Honorary Citizen of Pushkin Town" in 1999) was opened in the church wing of the Catherine Palace (it was shut down in 1988). The Pushkin Town citizen Sergey Dmitriyevich Umnikov, a collector of the materials about the poetess A.A. Akhmatova, opened the museum of A.A. Akhmatova in his own flat in Vokzalnaya Street (now it is Akhmatovskaya Street). In 1996 Umnikov passed his collection to the Tsarskoye Selo Gymnasium of Arts. The exposition devoted to A.A.
